Verse of the Day

Daily Dua

OH ALLAH, CORRECT ALL MY AFFAIRS AND DO NOT LEAVE ME ALONE

Allaahumma rahmataka 'arjoo falaa takilnee 'ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin, wa 'aslih lee sha'nee kullahu, laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta

"O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment). Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship but You."

— Abu Dawud 4/324, Ahmad 5/42. Al-Albani graded it as good in Sahih Abu Dawud 3/959.

Daily Hadith

Sahih

Somebody said to the Prophet (during his last Hajj), "I did the slaughtering before doing the Rami." The Prophet (ﷺ) beckoned with his hand and said, "There is no harm in that." Then another person said. "I got my head shaved before offering the sacrifice." The Prophet (ﷺ) beckoned with his hand saying, "There is no harm in that."

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
